I wasn’t aware that outdoor swimming wasn’t allowed due to Covid, but apparently it is now permitted so that’s good (maybe this only relates to those pools full of chemicals I know some people like to swim in)

I’ve uploaded details of a lake swim in Chile. I thoughts I’d have others but when I thought about it all those swims were in the sea (which by my own definition of “wild swimming” for some reason doesn’t count!)

Not good start to wild swimming year!

Icy and snowy conditions across Britain are once again affecting the start of the wild swimming season. Fortunately the Club 14-74 “Easter Sunshine Scottish Holiday” has been booked by Ruth so there is at last something to look forward to. Traditionally the Scottish Easter Holiday is the start of my wild swimming season.
